Policeman Realizes His Goal

"Success is doing what you want to do." If that is true, then John Saccany is truly a success. As a Cleveland Police Officer he attended Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. His goal was to some day represent fellow police officers in legal matters.

Today, 13 years after graduating from law school, and two years after retiring as a Cleveland Police Lieutenant, John is pleased to say that the majority of his clients are police officers, both active and retired.

"I am pleased to represent so many police officers in legal matters. I have the opportunity to fulfill one of my goals. I set while I was in law school. I also stay in touch and visit with many of the people I came to think so highly of while working as a police officer."

Mr. Saccany also continues to serve as an instructor at the Police Academy. "Besides allowing me to spend time with the academy and staff, teaching at the academy gives me the opportunity to visit with my former co-workers.

"Staying in touch with department and police officers has made my transition to civilian work very easy, but nothing tops having a police officer call for legal assistance. That's what it's all about."
