Statute of Limitations

A statute of limitations is a time period during which injured parties must file a lawsuit or their claim is forever barred. Statutes of limitation exist for all personal injury claims. If you are hurt or injured, contact us immediately so we can assess and preserve your claim.

We know of a situation where an injured person attempted to negotiate her own claim, without a lawyer. While she was negotiating and in contact with the adjuster, the statute of limitations expired, and so did her claim.

Remember that medical malpractice claims are always limited by a very short statute of limitations, and sometimes automobile accidents and personal injury claims are, too! Therefore, if you have been injured call us immediately so that we can evaluate the statute of limitations and protect your rights. If you delay, you may be barred from compensation.
