Recipe: Old-Fashioned French Dressing

An all-purpose dressing with lots of flavor for green salads, cold meats, and fresh vegetables.
Most of these ingredients could be waiting in your kitchen right now.

1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup good quality chili sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 small onion, minced
1/4 teaspoon paprika
salt to taste

Combine all ingredients in a medium sized mixing bowl
and beat well to blend.
Let the dressing stand for at least an hour to blend the flavors.

Yield: About 1-1/2 cups
