Dalkon Shield Litigation Winding Down

The Dalkon Shield litigation, which was first instituted in the early 1970's, will finally end in 1998. The last three Dalkon Shield trials in Cuyahoga County will commence in March 1998.

The Dalkon Shield Claimants Trust will make its final "pro rata distribution" around the end of 1998. If you settled your Dalkon Shield claim for more than $725 in gross, you will receive your third and last "pro rata distribution" around the end of 1998. We will contact you as soon as we have more information.
