| Federal cases involving injury or death from use of the drug Propulsid filed against the manufacturer alone (not against any doctor) have been consolidated for discovery in Louisiana. None of these cases will go to trial in federal court until the year 2002, at the earliest. Some cases filed in state courts will begin trial next year. These are cases against the manufacturer, and the prescribing doctor. No case has yet been filed by Brown & Szaller, since medical reviews are not completed. Brown & Szaller has been appointed to publish the Newsletter for the 120 law firms that belong to the American Trial Lawyers Association. |
