KNABE, ESQ. Kenneth J. Knabe has tried over 50 jury trials to verdict. He has made several appearances in the Court of Appeals and the Ohio Supreme Court, and is mentioned in several published Ohio judicial opinions. He has spent the last two decades representing injured victims across Ohio. He is past President (and Trustee, Treasurer, and Secretary) of the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys (CATA). CATA is an organization of trial lawyers that protect the rights of the injured. CATA received the outstanding local trial organization award when Ken was President. Ken is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers, the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys, the Cleveland Bar Association, the Cuyahoga County Bar Association, and the Florida Bar. He has written several articles that have appeared in the Cleveland Bar Magazine, Ohio Trial Magazine, and CATA Magazine. He has lectured on Ohio tort law across Ohio and has appeared in the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Medina Gazette, and Canton Repository, as well as on radio. He has handled several high profile serious injury claims, including the Medina County steam engine explosion; the East High School gym collapse; and the storm sewer drownings in Perry Township. He graduated in the top 7% of his class at Cleveland Marshall College of Law, cum laude, and received the Charles Auerbach Evidence Award as an outstanding student in evidence. He is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Cincinnati. He grew up in Cleveland, attended St. Ignatius High School, graduated with First Honors, and played varsity football and baseball.
